Silge Dudok is a specialized practice for clearing and expelling negative forces, harmful energies, and obstacles deeply embedded in life or environment. The name suggests completely clearing away; the ceremonial practice is intensive and focused.
Unlike general blessings, Silge Dudok targets persistent difficulties—recurring illness, relationship breakdown, financial blocks, or a sense of unseen obstruction. In Tibetan thought, such patterns may have karmic roots requiring deliberate ceremonial dissolution.
The ceremony may use an effigy (linga) to gather harmful energies before expulsion, wrathful mantras from Nyingma texts, mudras by the presiding lama, and burning of the effigy to sever negative connections.
It is chosen when gentler rites have not brought relief or when a situation feels unusually deep.
Purpose: Clearing deep obstacles, expelling negative influences.
Duration: Half day.
